BODYFLYING SKILLS LINE

The ranking of bodyflying skill levels ranges from 1 to 10.

Below are some examples of how a person’s ability to perform specific tricks, transits, and positions in the airflow looks at each level. By looking at the examples of bodyflying elements, you can understand your current level and identify what you may have missed in the previous levels.

The approximate amount of time it takes to master it is indicated under each element, taking into account sleep, rest and breaks between training days. This is a conditional, average estimate of how long it takes to train a particular element if a person has never flown in a wind flow before and if the main focus is on this element.

It is clear that in real practice it is impossible to train only one element in isolation - there is always a combination of different tasks.

However, in order to set benchmarks and determine the order of deadlines, we consciously consider the situation of an artificial focus on one element and estimate how long it would take to master it.

How to determine your bodyflying skill level:

1) Compare your abilities with the elements, tricks, and combinations associated with a specific bodyflying skill level (from 1 to 10).

2) Determine your status at the level.

Try to estimate what percentage of elements from each level you can perform.

For example:

Level 1 - 100 %

Level 2 - 100 %

Level 3 - 100 %

Level 4 - 100 %

Level 5 - 75 %

Level 6 - 43 %

Level 7 - 16 %

Level 8 - 8 %

Level 9 - 0 %

Level 10 - 0 %

3) Considering that you has not fully mastered level 5, has completed about half of level 6, and already has some progress on levels 7 and 8, it is safe to say that your level is approximately 6.42
